Today in music
2008 April 19
I’ll be brief for once:
- Aquarium Drunkard hosts a new tune from the forthcoming My Morning Jacket album and a terrific old live session by The National
- Everybody Cares links to a news single from Tilly & The Wall – the world’s only indie band who use tap-dancing for percussion – and muses on a politically-minded new EP by cellist/singer Ben Sollee
- Chromewaves discusses the shoegaze revisionists M83 and their new LP Saturday=Youth, which might well be one of my favourite records of the year.
- You Ain’t No Picasso hosts a tune from the forthcoming album by My Brightest Diamond.
- Good Weather For Airstrikes reviews the new Sebastien Tellier album and hosts some sample MP3s.
And finally:
Nothing to do with music, unless you dig awful movie soundtracks, but this is the best video of the US Presidential Campaign so far:
