War stories

Just to keep you all on your toes, I’m going to follow a post about building a snowman with several links on the subject of war. Well,  I never said that reading this blog was easy:

  • William Shawcross sees a new democratic dawn for Iraq…
  • …But Marc Lynch worries that the provincial elections may have made matters worse in Anbar.
  • Kori Schake insists that we’re winning in Iraq, but cannot win in Afghanistan.
  • At New Atlanticist, James Joyner rounds-up a few stories related to successes & future strategy in Afghanistan.
  • And the people of Israel look set to vote along the lines of “our government didn’t completely obliterate Hamas, therefore we’ll vote for one that will.”
