  1. Also worth nothing is that it isn’t just heterosexuals who engage/d in the practices Johann Hari deplores. Many British imperialists were gay & enthusiastically took part in the kind of mansex that would have been impossible for them to get at home.

    That review is a bit close to home though. Casual flicks of the wrist? Semen-soaked? The world’s masturbators? I’ve never heard the like!
